Monocryl Plus Suture, Undyed, Size 3-0, 27", SH Needle is a synthetic, absorbable monofilament suture designed for soft tissue approximation and ligation. It features an antibacterial coating of triclosan to reduce the risk of bacterial colonization on the suture material, making it suitable for use in procedures where infection risk is elevated. 

This suture demonstrates a controlled absorption profile, with a loss of 50–60% of its tensile strength within the first week and approximately 60–70% by the end of the second week. Full mass absorption occurs within 91 to 119 days, ensuring temporary support during the critical wound healing period before being fully absorbed by hydrolysis.

Monocryl Plus offers excellent pliability, allowing smooth and uniform passage through tissues with minimal resistance. Its monofilament structure reduces tissue drag and the potential for bacterial wicking. The smooth texture supports precision in surgical handling and reduces trauma to surrounding tissues.
